Living well in Autumn. 🍁🍂 The highlight of my weekend was visiting Women’s Health Tasmania’s Knit Your Bits exhibition at the Rocherlea Hall. All of the artists did a beautiful job and were so clever at creating their piece and also in expressing their emotion associated with their crafted body part. I’m so sad to see the number of uteruses that expressed pain and suffering. There is still so much to be done for women’s health to be taken seriously and for effective treatment options that are accessible. As a women’s health acupuncturist I will always take your pain seriously, even when you illustrate it as a uterus with a sad face. Check out this exhibition if you can - it’s still travelling around Tasmania. Doing my best to learn everything I can to support births to happen better. Last month I attended a @spinningbabies workshop alongside a room of beautiful midwives. The study of the anatomy of the pelvis was really useful to consider how I can use acupuncture to free up the muscles around the pelvis and sacrum. Free lettuce seedlings! 🥬🌱 Chronic pain? I’m so excited about learning more about the latest in pain science and intertwining that with what we know Classical Chinese Medicine and acupuncture theory has been saying for over 2000 years. Need a free ticket to a Chinese Medicine self care webinar tonight? 🙋‍♀️
